Our Services

Specialized Pediatric Speech Therapy

We provide highly individualized speech-language services for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, with specialized support in three key areas of communication development for families seeking additional support outside of Early Intervention or school services.

Early Language Delay

Some young children are slower to develop spoken language, use fewer words than expected, or have difficulty combining words into phrases and sentences. While every child develops at their own pace, persistent delays may benefit from expert support.

We commonly support children who may demonstrate:

  • Limited expressive vocabulary

  • Difficulty combining words into phrases or sentences

  • Challenges following directions or understanding language

  • Frustration communicating wants and needs

  • Delays in social communication and play-based interaction

Speech Clarity & Articulation

We provide specialized support for preschool and school-age children whose speech remains difficult to understand or who continue to struggle with age-appropriate sound production.

Therapy may be appropriate for children with:

  • Unclear speech for their age

  • Difficulty producing specific speech sounds

  • Sound substitutions, omissions, or persistent error patterns

  • Frustration when not understood by others

  • Reduced confidence in speaking situations

Social Communication Skills

Some children benefit from support learning the social use of language—how to connect, engage, and communicate effectively with others across settings.
We work with children who may need help with:
    •    Initiating and maintaining interactions
    •    Conversational turn-taking
    •    Play skills and peer engagement
    •    Reading social cues and body language
    •    Flexible thinking and problem-solving in social situations
    •    Building confidence with peers and adults
Strong social communication skills help children develop friendships, navigate school environments, and feel more confident in everyday interactions.
